Sista Surprise!

Lisa and I flew out on a redeye to New York on July 8th to surprise Lindsay (and meet baby Finn!) for her 30th birthday.

Paul contacted Uncle Mike (my dads brother who lives in NJ) a few weeks prior to her birthday and arranged for the 3 of them to stay at his house near the Jersey Shore for a few days.  Uncle Mike was gracious enough to pick Lisa and I up from the airport and drive us to his house so we could surprise Lindsay.

Sista Surprise Pulled off!

Sweet Baby Finn!!!

We had a wonderful day at the shore - relaxing on his deck, checking out the boardwalk, taking a ride out in his boat and snuggling with sweet baby Finn.
Boardwalk games

Cole is obsessed with this poop emoji so as soon as Paul saw it, he spent most o Finn's college savings trying to win one for Cole.  Keep practicing Paul... or better yet, save your $!

Happy 30th birthday to YOU!

Fireworks!

Uncle Mike was in his element!  Cruising around on his boat

Giant slices of pizza!

On Sunday afternoon, we headed to Brooklyn (about 2 hours away) to go back to Lindsay & Paul's place.  Finn was a trooper in the car and was such a great traveler.

Lindsay feeding Finn for the 1st time out in public! :)

We walked around their neighborhood (I'm in LOVE) and enjoyed the beautiful architecture, weather and time together.

On Monday we had lunch with Lisa's friend from college and then took an uber to NYC!  We were able to see the Freedom Tower, walked around the city a bit, and then walked back to their apt. via the Brooklyn bridge!  We got to see the spot where Paul proposed to Lindsay too, which was fun.

Place where Paul proposed...

While I was having fun on the east coast, this crew was having fun on the west coast:

I left the kids notes with a few surprises

Daddy took them out to bbq!

Hi sweet girl

Having fun with daddy

The Dads took the kids to Nani & Poppa's on Sunday afternoon.  My crew spent the night there on Sunday (and Monday!!) so Dave could go to work on Monday and Rich brought his crew up early Monday morning.

Needless to say, while we were relaxing, Nani & Poppa were working hard!  And we are SO appreciative.

Loved spending time with this sweet boy!  Cant wait to see him again at the end of August!

I brought the kids home snow globes - Cole dropped his on the floor less than 12 hours after he got it and Sydney dropped hers less than 24 hours.  Next time, everyone gets stickers! :)
