Ball

We attended the ball on Saturday, March 26th.  In previous years, the balls are held in hotel ballrooms and it's a sit down formal dinner with a guest speaker.  This year they changed it up and had it at the Museum of Man in Balboa Park and had food stations all around the venue.  We had such a great time!

While the ball was a blast, I think the best part was sleeping until 8:33!!!  Holy cow, it has been a long time since we slept this late!  Sydney and Cole stayed the night with Nani & Poppa and we are so thankful for this time that we were able to have.

Spring break

Sydney had the week after Easter off from school.  We had the perfect mix of friend time, family time and down time.

Brody came over to play one morning while his mom had a doctors appointment.

I organized a hiking trip with some moms from our Moms Club in Coronado.  Not a bad turnout for the first one!The kids all did so well - I think it helped having other kids around.

Easter

We headed over to the Coronado Rec Center the day before Easter to check out their Easter egg hunt and carnival

They definitely were not dressed in their Sunday best but they each got dressed themselves so I can't complain :)

We attempted to make Easter cupcakes to bring to the Ducotes house for Easter - they looked a little more like little mice but the kids didn't seem to mind!

We headed over to the Ducotes after church and failed naps.  The kids had fun playing and looking for Easter eggs.  We even managed to get Nani a new grandkid backdrop for her ipad!
