Every year a local group, URT, hosts an "urt dig"  You have a time limit (I think 5 miutes) to dig the largest hole with your hands (kids are allow to use shovels)

Sydney's Preschool Graduation

Sydney finished up her final day of preschool on June 14th.  Her school had a small ceremony where the kids sang This Little Light of Mine. Can't believe we have a Kindergartner!

We LOVED LOVED LOVED her teachers!!  Sadly, they are both retiring this year so won't be with Cole's class in the fall.  I am SO thankful Sydney had them for 2 years.  They were patient, loving and so wonderful with this group of kids.

The Moms group here is so wonderful and we have several playdates a week together. The moms got together one Friday night after the kids went down and cut fleece hearts to donate to the childrens hospital while snacking and drinking wine.  I am blessed by this group!

ahhhhhh... touring Sydney's new Kindergarten!  She left SO excited and SO ready so I guess that is a good sign? 

Dreams do come true

To say we've been busy, is an understatement!  Right before we left for Yosemite, we found out an offer we placed on a condo in Coronado was accepted!!  I think a few days in the wilderness was what we needed before the craziness began.  

We officially closed on May 30th.  Between May 30th and June 9th, we were painting, packing, painting, cleaning, painting... did I mention painting??!!??

My parents are so generous with their time and my mom watched the kids for 2 days while my dad helped me paint.  Did I mention this did this on their anniversary???  Yes, amazing. 

We painted the family room, bathrooms and all bedrooms. I don't need to see a paintbrush ever again :)
