What we've been up to...

How is it almost the end of April?  I was going trough my pictures on my phone and realized I had a lot that I wanted to get on the blog so I can eventually turn it into a book for our family.  One of these days I'll tackle that project :)  

Morning errands at Target.   

My mom spoiled Sydney when she was out here and every time they went to Starbucks, my mom would order Sydney a water.  Normally, the water ends up all over her but she has to have one.  I stopped to get a coffee before shopping and so Sydney got a water :)  I now order it without ice and only half full so she's not completely drenched. 

My first time leaving Cole!  Sydney and I went to her friends birthday party at the beach while Daddy and Cole played at home.

The marine base by our house just opened up a splash park for the kiddos   Sydney was a little young to enjoy everything but it didn't stop her from having a great time.

We were the first guests at the botanical gardens this morning and the ducks were hungry!  They wouldn't leave us alone and one duck stole the bread right out of Sydney's hand!

We were playing at the playground this afternoon and all of a sudden she started hanging and swinging.  Crazy monkey girl!

2 months

This little one turned 2 months yesterday!  Here are his stats:

Weight:  14.77 lbs.  (yes, he is a chunker!!!!)  90% 

Height:  23 inches 80%

Head circumference:  90%

Sydney was always in the 15-20th% so it's crazy having one on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. 

His 3 months clothes are officially packed away and some of his 3-6 months clothes are close to being put away. 

He is still eating every 3-4 hours although judging by his weight,  he could probably stand to skip a meal or two :)  

He LOVES when someone is talking to him or if he can see another person in his line of sight and will smile for them. 

Sydney is still loving him.  She always tells me when he is crying, runs in his room to help with diaper changes, brings him a blanket when I ask her to, etc.  Hope this continues!!

Par-tay!

I had a birthday last week and Dave and the kiddos helped celebrate and make it great!

We headed up to Haleiwa Joe's for happy hour/dinner.  I guess I need to accept that I'm getting old as we arrived at 4:30 and were outta there by 6:30 - ha.  Party animals :) 

Every morning this week Sydney has brought us a hat and asked us to wear it (she won't wear hers), says Happy and then asks for cake!   

Catching up

It's been awhile since I posted... trying to catch up on the pictures from this month.

And she quickly realized how fun that chore is :)... so she started playing dress up!

We met some friends at the zoo one day.   My first "big" outing with 2 kiddos.  Thankfully I had friends there to help so when I had to feed Cole, they entertained Sydney.

She LOVED the fish.  Could have spent all day just standing there watching them swim by.

Easter 2013

We had a fun time celebrating Easter yesterday!  The holidays are SO much better with kiddos!

Sydney excited to check out her Easter basket.  Dave gets up with Syd on the weekends so Cole and I can sleep in and he told her she had to wait to open it until I got it!  What a patient little girl.

After breakfast and church we headed outside for an Easter egg hunt.  Sydney went on two egg hunts earlier in the week with playgroups and actually got into and and loved finding eggs.
