I asked my mom to give Sydney's bangs a trim while we were home because they were getting long!

Uncle Mark

We were able to meet up with Uncle Mark for lunch one day while we were in San Diego!!

Had to give Sydney her first double double so we headed to In-N-Out

I think she liked it :)

I had envisioned breaking all of these pictures up into different posts but now that I have a mobile little one, my free time to spend on blogging is limited.  So... here is a hodge podge of pics from SD.  

Both of the kiddos LOVED my parents dog.  Cali was SO great with them all week...it might have had something to do with all of the extra food she got from the highchairs.

We tried giving both the kiddos a bath in my parents tub.  Syd wasn't having it which was surprising because she LOVES baths at home.  

So, we had fun with the water to try and get a few more minutes.  At least J seems entertained :)

Bri came up a couple of nights for dinner and to hang out!  The kids loved Uncle Buck and Joseph would say "Bubba" forever after he left!  So cute.

My mom got all of these fun toys for the kids from friends and what do they play with - water in the cooler!!!  It kept them entertained for awhile so we couldn't complain!

We celebrated my parents 40th anniversary while we were there (it was the week prior).  

And I thought we were doing good on 2 years of marriage... guess we have a looooong way to go :)

We went over to the coast one day for lunch and to play at the beach except it was FREEZING (thank goodness it was gorgeous inland at my parents house all week).  Sydney wanted to take a spin in Poppa's convertible!

Joseph found a baby in the toy chest and after feeding the baby, he thought Sydney looked thirsty and offered her the bottle.

Sydney decided while we were in San Diego that in order to keep up with her cousin Joseph that she had to work on her walking skills.  We took her upstairs where there is carpet to have her practice...

She's still not very steady but she's getting there!

Once my dad found out Lisa and I were coming out to San Diego, he booked Great Gram D (GGD) on a flight out from Arizona for the weekend.  It was so wonderful spending time with her and having her hang out with her great grandchildren for a few days.  Wished we lived closer so we could see her more often but thankful for the time we had together. 

It was a challenge to get both kids looking at the camera!

Sista Surprise

Lindsay graduated with her MBA in sports management last weekend from SDSU and Lisa and I decided to plan a last minute sister surprise visit!  Dave had to go to San Diego for the week for work so it all worked out!  Although we missed the actual graduation due to a delated flight, we had an aweomse week all hanging out.  Congrats Linz & Paul!
