9 months

Cole turned 9 months on Sunday, 11/17!
- He weighs 20 pounds 11 oz.
- His length is 27 3/4 inches

- His new favorite trick is sticking his tongue out

- He is still not crawling..yet.  Scoots around fast on his belly and will get up on all 4s and rock back and forth but no actual crawling.

- He has started pulling himself up onto higher surfaces (bottom of coffee table, island in kitchen, etc).  Can't leave him for a second or he's into something!

Has his bottom two teeth in.  Always seems to have his hands in his mouth but we haven;t been able to feel any others popping through.

He is eating 3 meals a day, plus snacks :)  Much prefers pureed foods vs. bite size pieces. Has started loving avocado and still enjoys sweet potatoes, squash, peaches and pears.

Naps in the morning around 9:30 for an hour and again in the afternoon around 1:30 for an hour.  Still working on that full night of sleep (for some reason I think I'm going to be saying that in a year from now.  Ugh!)...He does go down for the night at 6:30p and will stay in bed until 6-6:30a.m.

He is wearing size 4 diapers (same as Sydney) and is in 12 months (sometimes 18 months) clothes.

He LOVES Sydney and the feeling from her is mutual.  I'm sure they are going to be getting into trouble for years to come.

Happy 9 months, little buddy.

Lake Poway

We all have had some sort of cough/bug/ear infection/flu over the past two weeks so were relieved on Saturday when we woke up and were all feeling better!  It was chilly but we wanted to get out of the house so headed over to Lake Poway to play and feed the ducks.
Teaching Cole how to go down the slide.  He LOVES it!
Driving the car

Cole making music - with a little help from daddy

Checking out the ducks.  I would give her loaves of bread and she would rip off the tiniest pieces for the ducks!

Here they come!

And then they all started coming toward Sydney.  They were CRAZY

Happy Halloween - 2013

We had a good time celebrating Cole's first Halloween and our first Halloween in San Diego!
Cole scooting around in his 'bones' shirt as Sydney calls it

Trying on his duck costume

And then I made him crawl in it :)

So serious, Cole!

So Sydney lightens up the mood.

He's happy once he gets the chair all to himself!!

Costumes...
Ladybug (don't tell her she was this 2 years in a row :)

And a duck.  This costume came with adorable "webbed feet" that you put on their hands/feet but Cole would take them off as quick as I put them on and start eating them.  So, we did without them for the pictures

They were happier than they appear in the pics :)

On Hallowen afternoon, after a nap strike by Sydney, we headed over to the shopping center right by our house to go trick or treating.  It was held from 3-5 so was perfect!!!
Nani (Emily Elizabeth from Clifford) met us there after school!

And Poppa surprised us!!  Sydney asked on the ride over if Poppa was going to be there too and I said no he was at work so she was VERY excited when he was there.
