Sydney's 1st Lost Tooth

Sydney has had a loose tooth since the middle of December.  By the middle of January, it was becoming very wiggly and by the last few days, it was hanging on by a string.  On February 1st, as soon as she woke up, it fell out.

It was rainy here for about 5 days so we checked out a pass from the library to the new childrens museum downtown and spent several hours there one morning... 

Look at this creation she did all by herself!

They had this big play house where the kids could play/climb through and a huge climbing web in the middle of it - made me nervous as it was a BIG drop down from the top!

Dress up

Aunt Cindy was out in January for a weekend and brought Cole a rubber snake and lots of plastic bugs - he has been enjoying hiding them and scaring us with them!

Another fun day at SeaWorld

We got some new boogie boards in anticipation of summer but the kids wanted to use them right away.  The water was waaaaaay too cold so we improvised with sand dunes.

We have a friend (amigo) that works at one of the houses we pass just about every day on our way to school/the library/park etc.  The kids look forward to seeing him everyday and pedal their bikes really fast if he is out in the front yard.  He speaks a bit of English and we are learning to speak a little Spanish so have broken, short conversations. 

Sydney got a card making kit for Christmas and made Amigo Oscar a card!  So sweet!

My mom had the girls (Sydney, Ella & Julia) over for a sleepover one night when Poppa was out of town so Cole and I had a fun little date at In-n-Out on our way home.

Sydney got a toys r us gift card for Christmas and bought a baby that pees (!) with the money!

My friend Tanya had her second baby in the middle of January so her older son Brody came to stay with us for the night/day.  Cole eventually went in his bed and Sydney and Brody slept in hers. 

After a fun sleepover, we headed to the zoo!
