Teething

Guess who is getting her bottom two teeth in? 

This pic took FOREVER to get.  Every time we would try and get her to show us her teeth, she would do this:

This isn't the best video of Sydney clapping as she tends to get camera shy and will stop whatever she's doing as soon as we pull out the camera but I thought the grandparents may enjoy :) .

I definitely get my love for the beach from my parents.  We hit up several beaches during their visit:

My mom and dad watched Sydney when I had to go into the office for a couple hours during the week and by the looks of the pictures, I'd say they had fun!

Happy Birthday, Nani!

My parents arrived last Monday to spend a week with us!  We had such a great time with them and managed to take over 200 pics between 2 cameras!  Needless to say, I have some photos to go through and am a bit overwhelmed so decided to break up the posts a bit!  

Once Dave got home from work that afternoon, we took off to Haleiwa Joe's which is a little bar/restaurant about a mile from our house.  This is our favorite place for happy hour and we thought it would be a fun place to take my parents to.

After happy hour we headed back to our place for dinner and dessert.  I attempted to make Lindsay's famous ice cream pie to celebrate my moms BIG day!

We lit the candles and started singing.

And then the tears started... I don't think Poppa was in tune (sorry, dad) :) 

As soon as my mom blew out the candles, she was fine!

Mother's Day

I am SO blessed to call this little girl mine:

She has allowed me to have the best job in the world!

There are some challenging times but I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.  

Love her!!

This mothers day was extra special as I got to share it with my mom who was out here on vacation for the week!!  I didn't fully grasp the concept of this day and how much she did for all four of her kids until I had one of my own.
