Bump Watch - 31 weeks & Waikiki staycation

Dave and I headed down to Waikiki on Saturday morning for a 2 day stay-cation.  We were talking about what we were going to do for Memorial day weekend a few weeks ago and didn't have any big plans so I hopped on priceline and got a great deal at the Marriott Resort!  It was a relaxing weekend... just what we needed before our little one arrives.

Bump Watch - 30 weeks

We're in the home stretch now... 10 weeks to go!  We took our childbirth classes last week and assembled the crib/washed all of her clothes this morning.

Definitely getting bigger but still feeling good!

Operation Houston

Back in January I found out that I was going to travel to New Orleans for a work conference in May.  Shortly after this news, Rich and Lisa announced that they were leaving Hawaii and moving to Texas.  I asked Rich what he thought about me stopping in Houston on the way out to surprise Lisa and he was up for it. The plan only escalated from there...

Once I found out the dates of the conference, I realized it would be my Moms birthday/Mothers Day weekend so I informed my dad about my plan and his wheels started turning.  Next thing I knew, he had purchased tickets for him and my mom to fly to Houston to join in on the surprise.  He told my mom they were going to Phoenix to visit his mom for mothers day weekend... she was surprised to say the least when they landed in Phoenix and then had to catch a connecting flight to TX!

Rich picked me up from the airport first where I surprised my mom and then we headed back to the Ducote's house to surprise Lis.  We had a great weekend touring Houston and hanging out with J!  So glad it all worked out and we were able to be together!

Crazy that we'll have a little one next time I see everyone...

Bump Watch - 28 weeks

I took a red eye flight to Houston on Friday night to surprise Lisa and my mom for Mothers day weekend/my moms birthday!  Dave suggested that all 3 of us pose for the weekly belly shot.  As you can see, their bellies are much smaller than mine.

My mom has a slight obsession with rubbing bellies of pregnant women; however, she definitely controlled herself over the weekend and kept her belly rubbing to a minimum.  I would immediately start rolling my eyes as soon as she came close to my stomach.

Baby Jozeph and Lisa visit!

Lisa had to come back to Hawaii to sign some papers for work so decided to turn her trip into a little vacation!  Her and Joseph were here for a week and we loved having them.  It was so fun to come home from work everyday and play with Joseph.  Lisa kept thanking us for allowing her to stay with us but I think we were the ones who lucked out...she cooked, cleaned and even brought Texas salsa with her!  We miss them already and can't wait for the next visit.

Bump Watch & Special Guest - 27 Weeks

Lisa and Joseph have been visiting for the past week and we have LOVED having them here.  J is such a great baby -  we're keeping our fingers crossed Baby Dora is as happy and easy going as he is.
