Bump Watch - 26 weeks
I'm looking a little tired in this picture...we attended a wedding Saturday night and were out to midnight! A lot later than my normal 8 p.m. bedtime!
Maui
Inside of our hotel. It was all open air.
Sunset on our first night in La Haina.
Dave by the pool.
We played ping pong with the ocean right behind us
The BEST fish tacos ever!!!
The following pictures are from the sunrise at Haleakala. We set our alarm for 3:15 am and drove about 1.5 hours to the summit of Haleakala. It was freezing (43 degrees) but soooo worth it. Great way to start our anniversary day!

Kickin'
Last week (4/11) after we finished dinner, Dave was finally able to feel Baby Dora kick! We were both sitting on the couch watching a little TV and all of a sudden she was going crazy - kicking much stronger than she ever has. I thought Dave may be able to feel her so he put his hand on my belly and sure enough, he was able to feel her kick!!!

Bump Watch - 25 weeks
Changed up the scenery a little bit for this week's photo. This was taken in the lobby of our hotel in Maui while we were over there celebrating our one year anniversary this past weekend!
I think we're going to need to hire the grandma's to come out next year to watch Baby Dora so we can have another getaway! It was fabulous!!!

Wardrobe
We were so excited last year when we found out we had orders to Hawaii -- not just for the incredible weather and beautiful scenery, but because my sister and brother in law lived here too! Lisa and Rich lived on Oahu for 9 years before they recently relocated to Houston in March. During their time here, they made incredible friends who immediately welcomed Dave and I into their ohana.
Katie, one of Lisa’s good friends, was cleaning out her baby stuff and offered some items to me before she donated them. She was also gracious enough to lend me some of her daughters clothes that she no longer fits into. Katie and I carried 4 bags of clothing to my car but I don’t think it hit me how much stuff she actually gave us until we started going through it this past weekend! Our daughter is going to be well dressed!! As I was sorting the clothes, Dave mentioned that she already has a bigger wardrobe than he does… get used to it, buddy J
Thanks to Katie and her family for being so generous! I am SO excited to play dress up with her.
I had to take a picture of this swimsuit… is this not the cutest??!!?? Can’t wait for our beach days!
(Dave claims his daughter shouldn’t be wearing a 2 piece this young…)
Bump Watch - 24 weeks
6 months down, 4 to go!
We had our 24 week doctors apt. on Friday and all looks/sounds good! Our doctor said the baby is one active little girl, always moving around! We should have our hands full in a few months!

New ride
Once we found out we were pregnant, we realized that we should probably trade in our 'island car' for something more reliable/safer. I LOVED driving the Jetta even though the check engine light was always on, the a/c rarely worked and the radio would come in and out. Dave has tried to get me to drive the 'truck' (Highlander) ever since we moved out here but I have refused saying I'm more comfortable in the Jetta.
Sad to say but I said goodbye to the ol' Jetta on Friday. We have been looking for about 5 months now for the perfect car and lets just say there aren't a lot of options on an island. Dave found the car below at the lemon lot (used car lot on base) one day and fell in love. I was hesitant as my grandmas have more stylish cars but after riding it in and being SO comfortable and realizing how safe it is, I was sold. Needless to say, I wont have any sleepless nights worrying about Dave picking up the ladies down in Waikiki with his hot new ride :)

Bump Watch - 23 Weeks
Every week before our photo I tell Dave that I don't think my belly can possibly get any bigger... it already feels like it is stretch to the limit. I don't even want to think about how big it will be in another 17 weeks.
