We had a busy, but fun weekend! We started off on Friday as soon as Dave got home from work. We headed over to Kailua to attend their Full Moon Concert in the Park. We grabbed dinner from Whole Foods and set up shop in the grass. Sydney LOVED the music and being able to run around!

Rockin' out to the music
So happy!
Saturday after naps we headed over to the Marine Corps base to check out the airshow. We have a pretty great view of the planes from our living room but thought it would be fun to walk around.
I went inside the C5 plane they had on display. Dave rode a similar plane to/from Iraq when he was deployed so had plenty of time to bond with the plane then. Him and Sydney hung out on the tarmac and watched the stunt planes while I checked it out.
This plane is HUGE!!!
Navy SEAL leapfrogs - this team is based in Coronado, CA and Dave actually served with one of the jumpers while he was in Iraq. Small Navy world!
Sydney checking out the action (she ripped the glasses off 2 sec. after this pic)
It's hard to tell from the pic but there is a yellow plane in the background that is landing on a moving truck! It was crazy that they were able to do this!!
Lots of static displays
We headed back to our house around 2 to try and time it to watch the Blue Angels perform from our street. We walked up our street a little bit and had an awesome view of the show.
Fat Albert letting fans know the show is about to start
And they're off! I was able to watch them practice all week long and they amazed me every time
They flew RIGHT over us on this formation. That was a loud one.
It was past her nap time but she was a trooper...
I promise she had fun!
While it was an amazing show, I am glad they are done with the practice/shows. It was a long week of interrupted naps due to the noise!
We ended Sunday with a friends birthday party and called it a weekend.
