Bump Watch - 19 weeks

Almost 1/2 way there...

Congratulations Ma'am

Dave and I went down to Waikiki last weekend and as we were walking back to the car, a Japanese man bowed towards us and said, "Congratulations Ma'am".  Dave and I both looked at each other confused and then Dave looked behind us to see who he was talking to... except no one was behind us!!  We looked at each other realizing he was talking to me and we were both speechless.  I guess I ate too much at the Duke's breakfast buffet and I was showing more than I thought.  As Dave likes to say, I guess this little one is officially "sticking".

Countdown

When Dave was deployed 3 years ago, my friend Alicia made a countdown jar where I would eat one M&M everyday in anticipation of his return.  Along with a chocolate fix, it was a fun visual reminder to see the amount of time/M&M's go down.

Recently, my friend Marc recommended that we do a Baby Dora countdown jar... what a great idea!!  Since I am a pack rat and keep everything, I still had the jar that Alicia made me several years back.

We have 161 M&M's to go until we hopefully meet our little one.  I didn't put any extra in, hoping that s/he isn't late!!

Let the countdown begin...

* We don't know the sex yet... when I went to the store, the Valentine's day M&M's were 50% off so we went with the red, white and pink!

The Name Game

We recently started discussing names we like although its tough because we don't know if its a boy or a girl yet.  Last night, about halfway through dinner, Dave gets this huge smile on his face and says in the most serious voice  "I've got it!  Urban Tebow Ozeck".  I made him repeat it about 5 times until I realized what he was talking about... he wants to name our first child after the old Florida head football coach (Urban Meyer) and old quarterback (Tim Tebow).

Here's hoping its a girl so we don't have to have that discussion...
