The MOMs Club of Coronado won a book reading from the author of The Dog of the Del so we all gathered at a friends house one afternoon
Sydney with the Dog of the Del
A Navy SEAL who grew up and lived in Coronado was killed in action in early May. His funeral was held at the Catholic Church and then there was a processional on the way to Ft Rosecrans. The entire route (over 2 miles) was lined with American flags and people! It was a very touching and moving tribute.
It was just as patriotic (if not more) as the 4th of July, just much heavier. It was supposed to start at noon but never began until close to 1. These kiddos were so patient on such a warm day!
Simply amazing!
We were sending Auntie Lindsay entertaining text messages while she was in labor :) The kids came out both dressed in Sydney's swimsuits!!!
Silly poses!
He started dancing - hilarious!!!
Bedtime...for both!
Playing with the puppet theater at the library
