Cole

It's been awhile since we've update on the kids and since Cole just turned 2, I figured now is a good time.

Height:  33"  (17%)

Weight:  25 lbs. 13 oz (54%)
Head:  51 cm (95%)

I asked him a few questions on his birthday and got 5 answers out of him before he lost interest:

How old are you?  2

Favorite color:  Green 

Favorite food:  Peanut butter & jelly samwich (sandwich)

Favorite thing to drink:  Milk 

We love seeing Cole's personality come alive!  He is so interactive now and is talking a ton.  It makes guessing what he wants/needs so much easier now that he can just tell us.  Just yesterday, he told me he was tired and ready for nap.  Ahhhh...music to my ears :)  

He is SO polite and I hope he stays this way forever.  Almost nightly he says thank you to me for dinner and to Daddy for bath without any prompting.  We are still working on being polite with Sydney.  He will say thank you to her when she gives him something but he is not always the gentlest with her.  

Cole is napping once a day.  He usually goes down around 12:30/1 and will sleep for about 2 hours.  He goes to bed at 7 and will sleep until 6ish.  We started leaving a book in his bed and most mornings he will read/talk/sing in his bed for awhile before he starts asking to get up. 

Speaking of singing, he is always singing a song now.  Some of his favorites are: Twinkle twinkle, baa baa black sheep, ABC's, Old MacDonald.  We'll try to get some on video soon!!

He loves balls, books, trains and trucks.  If Sydney is doing art at the table, he'll want to sit down with her but looses interest pretty quickly.

He has started to show signs of the "terrible two's"...something we really didn't get to experience with Sydney.  He will throw a tantrum over the smallest thing (ie. I threw away his old diaper in the trash and he was on the floor kicking and crying because he wanted THAT one on.  2 minutes went by and he was a happy boy but my.gosh!!)

Also, he is starting to say "why" to everything!!  Again, something Sydney never did. He's keeping us on our toes... but we're loving it :)
