On Tuesday we headed over to the police station for a field-trip with Sydney's preschool.
We all met outside of the library before heading over to the station and the kids made binoculars. So fun!
Ellie and Caleb waiting for the police officer to get us
The kids were hilarious - they each grabbed a chair and made the moms stand!!
McGruff the puppet came out to talk to the kids
Sydney listening
She slowly inched her way to the front to touch McGruff
In the back of the patrol car... hopefully this never happens again :)
Moms (and a few dads) and kiddos.
Cole wanted in on the action as well
And... trying to get a group photo which was nearly impossible. Not all of these kids are in the preschool. 2 are older sisters and 3 are from moms not in our co-op but wanted in on the field trip.
Checking out the handcuffs
Listening to the officer talk about all of her gear on her belt. The belt plus the bullet proof vest weighs over 25 pounds!!
Such a fun morning. We're off to the fire station this week so more pictures to come!
