Sydney has amazed us at what a great big sister she is. I was very worried about bringing in a newborn and disrupting her single kid lifestyle but she has handled it SO well!! She 'got' that there was a baby in my belly but had no idea what changes that meant once Cole was born.
The first few days was definitely an adjustment period. She was clingy to Daddy (still is) and started whining/pouting which she never did before. Thankfully that one only lasted about 3 days before she snapped out of it :) It will be interesting to see how she does on Thursday once Dave is back at work.
Overall, she is SO sweet with him!! She gets so excited when I bring Cole out in the morning and runs up to him and says HI! in the loudest voice! She always squats down to see him when he is in his bouncy chair or car seat and gently pats his arm/leg.
