We woke up early on Monday morning and headed over to PunchBowl National Cemetery for the annual Mayor's Memorial Day ceremony. It was a wonderful tribute to the men and women who have given their lives for our freedom.

We are SO lucky to have Dave/Daddy at home with us every night. Many families/friends are not so fortunate if their spouse is deployed, working in another country, out to sea, or if they paid the ultimate sacrifice. There are some challenges of being in a military family but Monday reminded me how proud I am of Dave and every other man/woman in uniform (past or present).
