March

Here we go, catching up on March:
Our friend Annelie invited some of us to her house one morning to teach the kids how to make bread

Skyfari ride!

Sticker fun

Ashleigh sent the kids cards with stickers in them and they had a blast decorating everything!!

(Cole had huge mosquito bites on his head...)

We went to an Easter egg hunt/festival on the base across the bridge.

Sweet girl ready before the hunt

There were so.many.eggs!  But, there were also a lot of parents picking up the eggs!!!
She was a bit overwhelmed and confused in the beginning but quickly got the hang of it

After a mad dash at the easter egg hunt, we headed over to the rides before the lines got crazy long

And there was a 1/2 mile kids run that we found out about when we arrived.  Sydney was not wearing running shoes but was determined to do it. And she did!!!

Pep talk from daddy
Can you spot her?  So proud of her

Easter fun from preschool

The kids got a rice krispie bunny treat so we stopped at a park on a bike ride home and they got to eat their treat and run around...neither of them napped that afternoon from all the sugar!

End of February/beginning of March

Creative title, huh?!? :)

I can't keep up with the pictures and life just keep moving... So, here you go:

Morning at the zoo

We spotted a mama duck with her baby ducklings!  So cute!!!

we went to the beach one afternoon.  I thought we were going to play down by the water but these two had SO much fun playing on the dunes, that's where we stayed!  In the picture above, Cole is "hiding" during hiding-go-seek!

She found him!

Inexpensive pedicure :)

What a life!

Sydney selfie :)

We baked some bread and brought it over to our neighbor one afternoon and Sydney made her a card.

Sydney is REALLY into making cards and writing to people.  One morning, she drew this picture and asked how to spell Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Paul's name.  Such a sweet family picture :)

My boy at the bay

Another day.  Another morning at the zoo.

My Uncle Dennis passed away in February so we headed out to Arizona to celebrate his life.  Dave had to work so my parents drove in our car to help for the 6 hour car ride.  This was the set-up - I definitely had the best seat in the house as the driver.  Poppa got in the very back and said, "I never imagined this would be happening!"  They are great sports and made that trip SO easy on me.  I am so grateful!!!

We stayed with Uncle JP and Carol and once we got out of the car, it was playtime.  This huge red bean bag was a hit!

Cole loves holding "baby" Julia

We had LOTS of potty breaks!!  I reminded the kids many times before we took off to go to the bathroom and that it was going to be a long time in the car.  They both went and we were off.  We didn't even make it to the Coronado bridge (1 mile) before Sydney had to go!! ahhh.  I

I think this was stop #3...or maybe #4!  The train driver did toot his horn at us :)

Our library had a Dr. Seuss party!

Nani and Sydney went to the zoo one afternoon

Beach time with friends

Play date!

And, now I better get caught up on March because it's almost April!
