Celebrate!

We were SO excited and proud of daddy when we found out he was selected for a promotion!

So, we made him one of his favorites - apple pie!

That same week, it was Cole's turn with exciting news:  he passed the swim test!!!  25m swim without stopping and 1 min treading water.  So proud of our fish. 

My parents treated all of us "kids" to a night out to see a concert in La Jolla - we had a great time. 

And they had all of the grand kids!!! 

Sydney read her first chapter book all by herself!

We took the ferry over to downtown one morning and then biked to the children's museum.  We stopped by the statue first

Poor sweet Cole had a hospital stay in the middle of August.  He got an awful stomach bug and could not stop throwing up.  He stayed overnight so he could get some fluids - let's hope that doesn't happen again anytime soon.
