Some pictures from the first part of June from my phone:
Sydney sining Cole around at the playground. They both loved this and would laugh and laugh.
Sydney told us one night that she wanted to give Cole a bath...we still supervised a little :)
Sydney's last class of Spanish before summer. She was in a class of all boys.
We had another plant die due to a bird building a nest and two baby birds hatching from the eggs! Sydney was the first one to spot the babies.
Hanging out at our park last Sunday when they had their annual community picnic.
Daddy and Cole checking out the firetruck
Can you spot Sydney sitting in front of the fireman? He's explaining to her the headphones and then put them on her ears. The firefighters were so great with the kids.
Cole checking out the front seat
There she is
Sydney in the front
And then they spotted a little dog and they could care less about the firetruck or games :) They were in heaven.
We were leaving the library one morning and after telling me she didnt have to go potty while we were inside, the second we get the to the car and Cole is buckled in, she says she has to go. So, I open up the trunk and she goes. The best part is, we're in the middle of a parking lot with the door open and she asks me to leave so she can have, "Privacy please". Ha. This girl.
Our library had their summer reading kickoff program last weekend and the highlight was meeting the chik-fil-a cow. We have seen this cow on the street corner many times waving and Sydney has nicknamed him Buck the Cow. She couldn't stop following Buck around the entire time we were there.
We went to the zoo last week and as we were walking to the rhino exhibit we spotted a Cheetah walking on a leash on the pedestrian sidewalk! It was SO close.
We love having Nani on summer break! She joined us at the Safari Park last week as we checked out the new Tiger Trail.
Taking a stroller break and playing at one of the play structures
Roaring like a tiger
Tiger walking RIGHT in front of us!!
And one carousel ride before we head home! This was Cole's first time on the carousel.
They were quiet for too long... I came in from doing dishes and found Sydney COVERED in baby powder. She said she was doing tricks?!?
Daddy had a work function one night last week so got home after dinner/baths. Sydney is looking out the window here waiting for him.
And... it's summer time! We headed over to Nani and Poppa's pool yesterday afternoon for a little swim.
