Beach days!

Dave and I were talking last night how spoiled we are living in Hawaii and being able to go to the beach in mid November and then go for a walk outside in the evening in shorts and a tank top!  I think we're going to freeze at our next duty station...wherever that may be!


We spent a few hours yesterday at or favorite beach by our house.  The weather was PERFECT and Sydney did great!  No beach trip is complete without a photoshoot :) - sorry for the mass amount of pics!  

3 months!

Sydney turned 3 months on Saturday!  Crazy how time flies...


Dave and I have said that ever since we got home from San Diego last week, it seems like Sydney is a new baby.  Not that she wasn't 'fun' before but the last week has been such a blast!!  It seems like she is always in a good mood, we've developed a pretty good schedule, she's sleeping & napping in her crib (!!!!) and she is laughing/smiling so much more.  If this is a sign of things to come, we can't wait.

Sydney rolls over!

Sydney rolled over from her tummy to her back yesterday (November 2nd) for the first time!  Here is a quick video of her doing it again this morning!  Guess this means I can no longer put her on our bed when I get ready in the morning!!

Halloween

Since Sydney and I were going to be back in Hawaii for Halloween, Lisa and I decided to dress up the kiddos in their costumes a day early to have a mini photoshoot.  Sydney was a leopard (can't call her a cat because Dave isn't a fan of cats) and Joseph was a tiger (Rich wanted him to be a predator and not Tigger from Disney) :)

As you will see, trying to get one decent picture of a 3 month old and an 11 month old is a challenge!  We had a good laugh and the kids looked cute dressed up so I guess it was a success!

San Diego!

Sydney and I headed back to San Diego last week on spur of the moment trip so we could see family!  We had an awesome 8 days introducing Sydney to family and friends and we're already counting down the days until we head back for Christmas!

We had a great week but were definitely excited to get home!  Dave kept busy all week with work and he had the house spotless and my car cleaned for our arrival!  We may have to leave more often... :)
